Chicago Snowstorm

Everyone has felt the force of "The Hawk," more commonly known as the wind. A 11-mile per hour breeze is enough to keep the leaves on the trees moving and a 23-mph wind will move the branches as well. A 57-mph wind is enough to knock over people, trash cans and displace plowed snow. The fastest wind ever recorded on the Earth occurred on Mount Washington, in the state of New Hampshire, where the winds reached an amazing 231-miles per hour!
