Ticket Sales at Comiskey

The White Sox played their first game in Comiskey Park on April 15, 1910. The ball club had to share its park with other sports of the day, including the newest fad of 1913, auto polo, as illustrated in this photograph. Comiskey Park was the oldest ballpark in the nation until the late 1980s when age began to take its toll and construction began for the new "Comiskey Park" known as Cellular Field.
